Meet Kaylee Kryzer, LMFT

Providing brainspotting and talk therapy to couples, adults, and teens in our Santa Barbara office and online

Who am I?

I was born and raised in Minnesota in a blended family of five. I spent my days homeschooled, playing with rocks, and training my dog. Fast forward twenty years and I still find contentment in nature, learning new things, and caring for animals.  I am the kind of person who would pick getting cozy over a party, coffee over tea, and warmth over snow.

Who I help?

I help couples, teens, and adults looking to gain greater self-acceptance, process grief and trauma, relieve stress and anxiety, and sharpen their skills for relationships.  If you are feeling stuck and hopeless about your situation, I am excited to come alongside you and help you find what makes you come alive.

Why I help?

My vision is to see people be able to connect with a deep inner peace and have thriving relationships.

It has meant the world to me to have someone see into my life and offer a different perspective—a person to hold a mirror up and model what it’s like to extend forgiveness, acceptance, and belief. I want to “pay it forward” so to speak, and continue to provide to others what has been life changing for me: to be seen, known, cherished, and challenged.

How I help?

I incorporate a mix of “top down” (working with thought processes) and “bottom up” (working with felt sensations and reactions) therapy models to aid in reducing the physiological symptoms and shifting habitual patterns. Some modalities that I use are Brainspotting, somatic mindfulness, trauma informed and attachment based therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, parts and inner child work, and CBT.

Clients Appreciate

Clients have noted they can tell I genuinely enjoy connecting with them, and have emphasized feeling sessions are safe, non-intimidating, accepting, and steady. They rest assured knowing they are held in the highest light despite whatever they have disclosed.

Off The Clock?

Off the clock, I am likely out in nature, at waterfalls, in the ocean, and trying new recipes. I enjoy yoga, creative expression, dancing, coloring, cozy nights in, roasting smores, and snorkeling
